Infographic – Washington State WIC Remote Services and Expanded Food Options: Insights from Washington’s COVID-19 Response

In March 2020, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Washington (WA) State issued a “Stay Home, Stay Healthy” order and WA WIC clinics closed to the public. Federal and state policy changes were enacted to allow for remote services and expanded food options. This infographic depicts key insights from a study conducted in partnership with the Washington State Department of Health WIC program about how WIC staff and participants experienced program changes and makes recommendations for future policy and practice, published December 1, 2021.
