Farm to Early Care and Education: Growing Minds and Healthy Appetites

Farm to Early Care and Education: Growing Minds and Healthy Appetites is a free online training course maintained by state-approved trainers* at the University of Washington Center for Public Health Nutrition. The goal of this training is to empower early learning professionals to implement farm to Early Care and Education (ECE) in their centers. This training also highlights how engaging in farm to ECE can help providers meet the Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP) standards and best practices.

STARS Credits*
Two (2) STARS continuing education hour in Health, Safety & Nutrition can be earned by completing the Farm to Early Care and Education: Growing Minds and Healthy Appetites online training. The training should take about 2 hours to complete.
Cost
This online training is FREE thanks to support from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the Washington State Department of Health.
