Building a More Resilient & Equitable Food System in Seattle

Community Partner: City of Seattle Office of Sustainability & Environment

Part of the goal of building a more resilient and equitable food system for the City of Seattle, this project identified the weaknesses and opportunities of Seattle’s current Food Action Plan to assist in improvement of food system resilience and equity for a more hopeful and resilient future. Resilience frameworks of Baltimore and Boston were used to identify key strategies and frameworks to implement within Seattle’s Food Action Plan and to better the Seattle and greater King County Food System.
